Switzerland 2022

Do you know the role of Barnabas? He was a man who impressed with his special character. The Bible first tells how he sold his land for the kingdom of God (Acts 4,36:37-9,26); how he introduced Paul to the apostles (Acts 27:13,2-4); the Holy Spirit sent him on mission with Paul (Acts 15,1:41-XNUMX); he participated in the Jerusalem Council (Acts XNUMX:XNUMX-XNUMX); and he gave Markus a second chance. Barnabas was a bridge builder among the apostles. His actions always led to a spiritual unity. We can all learn from him, and we are richly blessed when we have a Barnabas around us.

Overview

In 2018, during a time of prayer and fasting, we saw that God multiplicative discipleship in many hearts, in order to entire regions can be reached (Mt.24,14:XNUMX). This is nothing new in central Switzerland, but has already been seen several times in church history (e.g. the revival in the 18th century – see also Jacob Schmidlin). We started in 2019 with a small team in a preliminary phase to establish the basic principles of Discipleship, Fellowship & Multiplication to learn. In 2021 we were ready and started the house church network in Lucerne. In the first 1,5 years, the following happened to a handful of people in Switzerland, Germany & Austria:

• 24 baptisms (Muslims, atheists, esoterics, etc.)
• 15 EBS groups (Discovery Bible Study with Open Persons)
• 8 Discipleship Groups (Groups developing into a house church)
• 8 house churches

We thank Jesus from the bottom of our hearts for all that we are allowed to report and pray that the testimonies chosen will encourage and delight you.

Church Planter Conference in Athens

At the end of March we were invited to Athens to take part in a Movement Leaders Conference for Europe. For me personally, it was a huge gift to meet so many people who also live the vision of simple churches that can be multiplied. It was exciting to exchange ideas with various church planting movements and to hear how many people across Europe, even worldwide, find their way to Jesus through this.

In recent years I have personally been able to discard many ideas about what church should be like and Jesus taught me many biblical principles Discipleship, Church Building & Multiplication. This path was not always easy for me. I had to let go of some things that were dear to me. My joy was all the greater to meet so many brothers and sisters in faith from all over Europe, whom Jesus also led in this way. When I was a teenager, I made a choice not to “just” believe in Jesus, but to follow Him. I decided that Jesus should need me so that his kingdom can grow through me. To this day, my heart burns passionately to lead people to Jesus and to see new churches spring up. I am willing to break new ground again and again.

Connection Day Central Switzerland

Encouraged by the testimonies of God working multiplicative movements in Europe, the idea of ​​a connection day for Central Switzerland came up during a prayer walk with a friend to perform. We wanted to bring the existing house churches and their networks together, encourage them and promote exchange.

This is now one regular exchange of apostolic servants in the making, with the aim of strengthening each other and receiving strategies together in prayer in order to reach the region of Central Switzerland with the gospel. We will hold the Connection Day annually in the future.

Dealer becomes a jail missionary

At the beginning of 2021, Dodo met Jesus in a special place, namely in custody. Alone in his cell, he had a miraculous encounter with Jesus from Nazareth. Overwhelmed by the love of God through this experience, shortly after his release in May 2021, he was baptized and gave his life to Jesus. After this event, Dodo stopped being silent and told everyone and everyone. Shortly thereafter, his friend Juan, who had had an experience with Jesus Christ himself, was baptized. Dodo began attending house church. He took his friend Tiffany there, who herself met her Savior and was baptized in the spring of 2022. Dodo is in prison again for a previous offense where he continues to share his experience and the love of God with his fellow inmates. He prays for everyone, tells them about Jesus, distributes Bibles and tries to preach the gospel there as a disciple of Jesus.

Esoteric Fair in Lucerne

At the beginning of September, we and our house church network in Lucerne at the stand of Heaven's Messenger.ch helped. In the middle of the esoteric fair in Lucerne with over 70 exhibitors, we were represented with a stand that was ONLY about Jesus Christ. Next to us was a shaman stand and on the right a stand of the Indian love flute. It's unbelievable what's going on in the esoteric realm and how many people have opened up to the powers of darkness in the last few years in search of peace, safety and love. But Jesus is victor and so much stronger. We were also able to experience this impressively in many different ways at this trade fair. 

• Da cam ein older man to our booth and said he was "attracted" to our booth. We prayed for him and after he had spoken very confused at first, more and more clarity came into the conversation. We were allowed to serve him with prayer and words that the Holy Spirit gave us. He reported that after more than 20 years in Buddhism and other religions he is now drawn to JESUS ​​CHRIST. We explained the gospel to him and gave him a Bible.
• A woman came to the booth and wanted to receive a message from heaven. I started praying and she manifested immediately, grimacing in all directions. The Holy Spirit showed me something from her life and I told her that God loves her and wants to heal all her spiritual wounds. When we prayed again, she experienced how the The 'stranglehold' she felt before stopped and a white ray came and it was like arriving.
• Various physical healings took place and some people were so touched by the Holy Spirit that they shed tears etc. etc.

My personal highlight was that someone from the Heavenly Ambassador team Lecture on the topic “Life in the light” was allowed to hold. I spontaneously helped and together we were allowed to talk to about 25 people about the light of Jesus Christ and to preach the gospel. Some people came to us afterwards and asked for prayer. There, too, Jesus was powerful. THANK YOU to the Heavenly Messenger team for their valuable service in the kingdom of God and thank you especially JESUS ​​CHRIST, who is the true light in the darkness and wants to save EVERYONE.
